The Bhoo-Kampan: Journal of Indian Society of Earthquake Science aims to promote the science of seismology and to create synergyies between seismologists and engineers. It is published in electronic form and is also available in printed form. Bhoo-Kampan journal is an open access, scholarly, peer reviewed, interdisciplinary and fully refereed scientific journal for scientists, engineers, research scholars, students and academicians involved in all aspects earthquake science, geology, geophysics and geotechnical studies to publish high quality and refereed papers. Contributions featuring original research and innovative applications from around the world are welcome. The articles to be published in the Bhoo-Kampan are subject to rigorous evaluation to guarantee their originality, timeliness, relevance and readability. While the focus is on publishing the unpublished material, selected conference papers with exceptional merit that require wider exposure are, at the discretion of the editors, also published provided they meet the journal's peer review standard.
