The Bhoo-Kampan: Journal of Indian Society of Earthquake Science is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that is gaining ground in India and opening up to the world. Its goal is to publish original, theoretical and practical advances in the fields of earthquake science, geology, geophysics and geotechnical studies. Bhoo-Kampan's vision is to publish original research results, reports and reports based on theoretical or experimental work in the above-mentioned areas of research.
Authors are invited to submit their original articles for publication in the journal on the basis of theoretical or experimental work. The submission of the article implies that the work described above has not yet been published and that it is not intended to publish elsewhere.

Formal Conditions of Acceptance Notification

  • The article is clearly presented and written in Standard English.
  • The article must be written in the original in order to broaden the existing knowledge base in the given field.
  • The reported results have not yet been published and will not be taken into account elsewhere.
  • Experiments, statistics and analyses are performed to high standards and described in sufficient detail.
  • Motivation and objectives should be clearly stated and highlighted in the introduction.
  • The contribution of the research and the expected results should be clearly highlighted in the document.
  • The conclusions are correctly presented and corroborated by the data.
  • The image must be clearly visible and contain the name and numbers of the image in ascending order.
  • The equation / formula should be included in the mathematical equation software. Please do not give scanned equation/formula.
  • The tables must be in MS Word. Please do not include scanned images of tables.
  • Corresponding references to previously published work must be included in the API style (Bhoo-Kampan standard).
All submitted contributions are first reviewed at the editorial level and evaluated according to their professional aptitude for the journal, the scope of the work and the plagiarism. Bhoo-Kampan uses standard plagiarism software to check the plagiarism / similarity index of the document submitted for this journal. When selected by the editors, the paper shall be subjected to a fair and unbiased double blind peer review by at-least two referees on the basis of their originality, novelty, clarity, completeness, relevance, significance and research contribution. The review process can take 2-3 months, depending on the required review cycles, before the paper is finally accepted.
